Privacy Statement

This statement explains what QuFolio (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the QuFolio app at app.qufolio.com (the “Service”), why, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by QuantVitals.
QuFolio is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in the Service is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and, if you add one, a passkey. A passkey stays on your device; we receive only its public key.
- What you create — layouts, charts, screens, watch lists, journal entries and settings you save in the Service.
- Payment records — your plan, its status and billing dates. Card details are entered on and held by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
- Questions to the assistant — text you send to the in-app assistant, and its replies.
- Technical data and usage — sign-ins, the devices and browsers you use, IP address, and time spent in the app (active, open, or in the background), used to run, secure and improve the Service. You can see your own devices and sessions in the app.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To save and show your work across devices.
- To provide the plan you chose and to bill for it.
- To answer your questions to the assistant.
- To keep the Service working, fix faults and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that run parts of the Service for us, each for that purpose alone:
- Sign-in provider — email codes and passkeys.
- Payment processor — payments, invoices and receipts.
- Hosting provider — servers and databases, in the United States.
- Location provider — looks up the approximate city and country of an IP address.
- AI provider — processes the text you send to the assistant to produce its replies.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme and layout. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and your saved work while your account is open. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your saved work and account details within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account, by writing to support@qufolio.com. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law, and we will honour them.
Security
Connections to the Service are encrypted, sign-in uses one-time codes or passkeys rather than passwords, and access to our systems is limited to the people who run them. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this statement we will update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email when a change is significant.
